Background not appearing

Hey guys, I've been through the forums and tried all the solutions that have been provided in relation to this issue and none of them seem to work (I'm assuming that I have followed the instructions correctly).

Just so people know what I'm referring to, basically I bring my background image into the composition area and it shows fine but when I go to preview the project, it doesn't display at all.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Do you have the alpha turned to 0? Is it on the right layer?

I played around with the Alpha as it was in one of the other solutions, didn't make a difference.

I believe its in the right layer, I even tried moving layers around just to see if that made a difference.

Oddly enough, the same issue happens with the Basic Shoot 'em up template I downloaded from this website.

@GigabyteGames I had the same problem when I wanted to test the game on my ipod touch! try to uncheck "Preload art" off of all of your actors in the game and retry

Nope didnt solve the issue either. I'm starting to wonder if its a problem with my Windows setup, as it happens with the Shoot-Em-Up template I downloaded from GS as well.

OK, I figured it out. the Image I was using for the Background Actor was too large. I took it into Paint.NET and resized it down to the size of the format I'm working on and it works fine now :) Weird.

@GigabyteGames‌, the limit for modern devices is 2048x2048 pixels.
This is the physical graphics memory limit on the iOS devices.
