Help with non scrollable layer

hey guys. in my last game i was able to make a hud no problem.
Layer - Scrollable NOT Ticked
- actor
Background - Scrollable Ticked
-actor
im making a new save and i have done the exact same thing except when i tick no on scrollable to the layer ABOVE background the actor disappears and its frustratingly annoying! if i re tick it to scrollable it comes back again, however this is useless with a hud as i need it to stay still. anybody experienced any similar issues?

That is indeed strange.
Try opening the older game, where the HUD worked to see if it has the same problem.
If not, the issue is somewhere in your game logic.
If yes, submit a bug report.

the new game is basically a new save. it is super strange because it works perfectly fine on my older game disco dash.
Is the 'test' actor in the Home location of the scene? By that I mean if you have a large scene size, anything on a non-scrollable layer MUST be in the area of the scene marked by the White Guide Lines that Gamesalad places in the scene.
if your talking about the tracking area, than yes. screenshots have been taken in preview mode
Yes, that is what I was talking about... was hoping that was it since it's a simple fix.

ill submit a bug report this is quite breaking for me cant finish this without a hud at the moment
