How do I open a Release Candidates 0.12.9 file on a stable beta?

in Working with GS (Mac)

I upgraded to the latest stable beta 0.12.10 and now I can't open my project I made on the Release Candidates 0.12.9 how can I get it to open on the latest stable version.

    you need to manually edit the XML of every file in the project. if you do a search you'll find some instructions on how to do it.

    and for everyone else reading this, this is why you always take a backup of your project before opening it in a new version!

    rename the file extension to .gameproj then it will work in the new stable release
