Video game test run. Suggestions???

Quick setup of a new game/app I am making. This is a the rough draft. Any ideas on how to improve? Move left and right with arrow keys. Space to jump. Bounciness is there mainly to give it a little challenge and comedy. No sounds have been added.

    i'd make the wings only flap if you hit spacebar

    I tried that but he looks dead. You could hardly tell he was a bat.
