GameSalad Creator not found issue.

in Working with GS (Mac)

When I start the GS viewer in Android, it says: Connected to wifi, GameSalad Creator not found.

But I'm pretty sure the GameSalad Creator is running in the same wifi.

And from my MAC I can even see the Preview on Android button. When I push that it popup a window and said Could not resolve device address, a network problem occurred.

I've tried reboot the MAC or Phone, nothing works.

Does anyone who knows how to fix this?

  • My GS Creator and Viewer version are both 0.12.10.
  • The MAC OS version is Yosemite 10.10.1
  • The Android OS version is Lollipop (5.0)

    make sure you have the 12.10 viewer.

    Run the viewer and look in upper right corner version number is there.

    Hi, thanks for answering but as I said I'm pretty sure the Creator and Viewer version are both 0.12.10.

    The version number writes in the upper right corner is 0.12.10. It is the same as my GS Creator version.

    Having same problem. Rebooted but no effect.

    iPhone 6
    OSX 10.10.1
    Viewer: 0.12.10

    Hi, does anybody know how to solve this problem? I'm almost finishing my game, but I still can not test it via my phone.

    If this is for Android, you could try putting it on Google Play in the Alpha or Beta testing mode so you can just download the game to your phone and try it that way?

    Hi, have you set up GS though these steps?

    You need to direct your GS editor to where the adb.exe is located on your pc (under file->preferences if I recall correctly).
