Need help moving an actor

Seasons greetings. I have a question. I am trying to move a character that has a sequence of pictures that makes it look like it's moving standing still. The only problem is I cannot get the character to move left or right or even jump up and down the screen. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all who answer.
