Cannot drag&drop actor

Hello, today I download gamesalad and view some of tutorials. I open it create new project,create new actor. But if I want to drag it into scene, it do not work. Still black scene with red cross in center. No object show in scene. I am using Windows 8.1. Any help? In educate videos on youtube everything works great, but if I follow this steps nothing happend. Still black scene without object. (any change I saw in Layers, anytime I drag and drop actor in scene it create new layer)
