Minimum Supported OS Version stuck on 6.0

Well I'm uploading my app for apple... & I just noticed the Minimum Supported OS Version is stuck on 6.0... How come I can't set it to 5.0 ?... How come I can't set it all? It doesn't even give me the choice for a drop down menu so I can choose from 5.0 iOS - 8.0 iOS. I'm I the only one with this issue? I want everyone to be able to download my app.. that's why I set all my apps to 5.0 iOS

iPhone 3GS and up. But realistically, you're not going get good performance on an original iPhone anyway, so I'd not worry about it.

What's the status of this? I don't plan on supporting anything less than iOS 7 hardware. It's kind of silly to support iOS 6 when it's not even getting the latest security fixes and obviously isn't going to be supported by Apple much longer. iOS 9 is just around the corner. I would very much appreciate the option to set this field to iOS 7 or 8.

6 will no longer be supported when 9 launches
