I'm so tired of Adobes products, they have become bloated with garbage over the years but they are still the industry standard. I'd love a newcomer to steal some of their thunder!
Wow this is great. I know what I am going to be using now, and it saves me $10 a month There are some handy features on there like preset device sizes with ppi, rounded corner presets, and so much more. Thank you so much for sharing!
Will it be free when it's officially released? Their vector product isn't (but is cheap).

I was wondering that, too. The fact that it's not clearly stated as being free leads me to believe it won't be, but I don't know.

Good point, @Armeline - my guess is not - but hopefully/maybe the beta will be free for a few more iterations before official release - we wait to see...
Well Affinity is the Only software i have seen in my 10 year of Photography which should be called as the best photoshop alternative, People will move to affinity as this one is only one time subcription price, rather paying til life time every Month. Photoshop is really tough to compete but this seems to be promising. This month 2 competitor are in market one is affinity as a desktop version for mac user which is competing desktop version of photoshop, And toolpic which seems to be Great Photoshop Online Free Editor, which is browser based editor which is competiting with online version of photoshop. This Month is hard for photoshop. As both is giving them tough as compare to features.

Seems a lot simpler to use than Gimp. And it's nicer looking and cleaner.

Everything in the internet is free
On a serious note, this a nice alternative.
First and last bump in case you haven't seen this.
