What happened to T-Shirt Booth?

I have been a longtime reader of the forums and I noticed a while back that T-Shirt Booth seemed to have packed it in. For a while there it seemed like he was building quite the app empire. What happened?

He left a long, long time ago. I assume to devote full time to his T-Shirt business.

I thought that he was quite successful as an app developer, so I'm surprised that he would quit. Has the app market gone south or something?

Success is relative. His knowledge of GameSalad was impressive and his templates and video tutorials live on.

It would be nice to hear from @tshirtbooth every once in a while to know how things are going but yea, he left a while ago and also posted a post that he was going to be putting his focus back into his T shirt business as that was his real true passion!

He is a legend! Once I get some success I want to order a few shirts from his company and tell him thanks!

I learned a ton from his videos too! Too bad his comments were removed from all of the discussions, because they always seemed really helpful.

If memory serves me, he deleted all of his comments and contributions from the forums, as well as his forum account. I was saddened but like I said, at least we still have videos and templates.

Was T-Shirt Booths first name Trey Smith or something like that? T, S for T-Shirt ?

I believe he got done dirty. Its pretty much taboo now to speak about the man with the shirts.

What is his tshirt business? Guy is a legend to me too. If anyone from this community deserved to make it as an app developer, I would say he would definitely be number 1 on my list. There are others of course that are talented people and deserve it as well. I'm just saying he seemed very knowledgable here. Wish I had half of his knowledge and understanding. Anyway, I'd buy a t-shirt from him lol, just cuz....

I'm also down in buying a t-shirt from him... I feel like most of us owe him one way or another for getting our feet wet.

I believe Tshirtbooth went back to Tshirt making. I know he was doing gamemaking full time and started GSHelper and then sold that company. Some can make a fair living on games, few get rich, whatever your definition of rich is, but most make a small sum. I guess it depends on what you make already. not everyone wants to be a full time developer. If you already have a good job and great pay, game development is a side venture. If you manage a good selling game it just adds to you income. Similar to a person having a second job.

Nah! That guy at Buildbox sounds a little bit like Kermit the frog, whereas Tshirtbooth sounds EXACTLY like Kermit the frog.

He told me he didn't like the direction GS was going in, he used to be close to the staff as we did but they closed the doors on him and us a while back.

He didn't like the way he was being treated by the team so went back to making shirts.

He very nearly made everything free on GSHelper and mentioned about being the hero but he sold it to a guy called Max.

I do miss our Skype chats Mr TSB.
