i really want to make a space invader style game can any one recommend a good starting point or theme to use

    I think the top 'Alien Conquerors' on the page linked is a space invaders type template from Gamesalad.

    The DBA template ( thanks @jigglybean ) is full of notes to guide new users, i never downloaded the one GS made which is very old now but should still work.
