New to GameSalad and need help!

I have no idea how to use gamesalad and most tutorials don't help. I want to make a 2d shooter. How do I make my game?

    Wow man, I don't even know where to start with that one. See the search window at the top right of this web page. Start with typing 2D shooter , follow the threads and get as much info as you can. Look for key words that pop up regarding shooter games that you don't know and do a search on those. Try searching for shooter demos.

    Pop over to youtube and do the same , search for all the same words under game salad. Start a notebook and make a note of each new thing you learned in each search and before you know it you'll be building your own game.
    Tough love I know, but If you want it. It starts with taking responsibility for it.

    Tutorials aren't supposed to teach you how to build a specific mechanic as it is to teach you how to use the engine so you can build the mechanics you want to build.
