Should you be able to close the Dashboard?

I'm wondering if this only bothers me (I submitted a bug report)...

This is the Dashboard:

In the current version of Creator, you can minimize the Dashboard but it shows up every time you open Creator and it cannot be closed.

    You should definitely be able to hide it, it gets pretty annoying, especially if you have a small screen.

    We should definitely be able to hide/close it, I also find it annoying, even on a large screen.

    I agree. However, sometimes I also find it hard to find it! Its like it disappears until all windows are closed? Maybe it's just me.

    Yep, although cmd+` or cmd+~ helps with that.

    I assume it's a bug that GS will eventually fix. After all, the red close window dot is still there.

    I find it very annoying that you can't close it. In general I hate splash screens like that that constantly pop up in my face. Would love a button to "Don't show again...".

    Ive noticed the same thing, but I just open the save again and it goes away.

    I assumed that, too. When I reported it as a bug I was told it was by design. So I submitted it as a feature request. :)
