Stopping an actor after colliding with wall at angle

I've got a wall at an angle and I want my actors to colide with it and stop. Doing nothing, they colide with it and keep moving, sliding along the wall. I tried adding a change velocity to 0 when they hit it, but now they just kinda fall over and slide along the wall, from their leftover momentum I guess. I've also tried giving it a velocity the same as it had when it hit the wall, but that didn't work either.

any idea's on how to accomplish this?

    That helped, but didn't do what I want, I'm just going to alter the gamplay a bit and have them destroy on impact
