in Working with GS (Mac)

i was using gamesalad release candiate , but then when i tried to open my file which i started working with gamesalad release . and opened with gamesalad beta a error appeared.
is this common ... ..

    Yes, simply right click on the file and click "get info." Change the file extension to .gameproj. You can then open the file in the stable release.
