Can't sign windows 8 app for testing

Hi,

I have created a demo version of my game with the Windows 8 generator and have downloaded the zip file. I have then followed all of the steps listed in this document to attempt to side-load it to test it: http://download.gamesalad.net.s3.amazonaws.com/manuals/GameSalad Creator for Windows Manual 2012-11-01.pdf

When I try to sign the app it give me an error stating:

SignTool Error: An unexpected internal error has occurred.
Error information: "Error: Store IsDiskFile() failed." (-2147024893/0x80070003)

C:\Users\Me\Desktop\AppSigner>pause

How can I fix this?

    make sure you are using the windows 8 SDK, NOT the windows 8.1 SDK. I've never been able to get the process to work with the 8.1 SDK.

    the signing process is only for testing, you don't need it to actually submit the game.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I've tried that and there's no change. I've tried running the process with and without admin and with the files at different directory levels as well but so far I keep meeting the same error.
