Changing a forum thread title after a day.

Is it possible for one to change the title of a their own thread after a day? I've noticed that the gear button to edit the thread is gone after a day. Is the editing of the thread only available to moderators?

    Yes, it's only available to moderators after 24 hours.

    You can always ask a moderator to change it for you after 24 hours.

    I thought about it. Then I said if they do it for me they'll have to do it for someone else. Then it'll become a 'thing.' Moderators might feel obligated because they changed ol' Rabid Parrot's post title. This will cause anarchy! Fire everywhere! The end of the Gamesalad forums. But, I could be overreacting.

    the need doesn't tupically arise very often. I think most mods would consider the reasoning you need it changed and make a decision from there.

    Well in that case, if either of you get a chance would you change the title of my "#Spoilers" thread to "Tapper Heroes: Idle gaming at it's finest." The link for the thread is http://forums.gamesalad.com/discussion/81004/spoilers#latest. I am requesting a title change because there will be no more "spoilers." The game is now released and playable online.
