Touch simulation

Hi.. another noob here. I was just wondering whether you can simulate touch on game salad creator? I've been doing this tutorial where you make the actor move to a touch on my mac - using the mouse option, which works fine. Can I use the touch options in the attributes rule thing? It doesn't seem to work on my mac. Would appreciate any advice.

Gamesalad supports touch events through Rules.

You can set up a Rule that says "When touch is pressed, do something".

Touch events won't work on a Macintosh unless of course you happen to have a magical monitor that detects touch events! ;)

Below is a tutorial that uses touch events to make buttons to control the movement of an actor if you want to check it out:

Thanks Jamie - I appreciate it. I'll be checking out your site.

I was hoping for a tutorial that covered the topics that are covered in this tutorial:

only maybe with better video quality and perhaps a teaching style like yours.

Hi, didn't see your video post until now. I don't have a tutorial about that but it would be a quick demo to put together. What specifically are you looking for? To have an actor move to the spot you touch/click the screen or something else?

Let me know and I can do a quick demo for you.
