Endless Jump game...

So I've seen people talk about making a endless jump game however I've never seen anyone succeed with it very well. Any demos you could link me to or some helpful advice on the subject of an endless game maybe like doodle jump?

    I personally like games on the iphone that you can see how far you can go (endless games). That's the real reason I make games is so I can play them, and of course others.
