Probably yes. Thinking about an app extension for it, so best to have it.

Just watched the ad on TV and I think even if I had the cash, no.
To me it would be just another expensive gadget, that would be in a cupboard in six weeks.

I want to but I think it is absolutely ridiculous that it's an extra $500 for the band I want. Apple has gone insane with its pricing for the watch.
I am looking at maybe getting the Olio. Steve Jacobs; the Founder & CEO of Olio is a former Apple and HP product designer. It's compatible with both Android and iOS. You guys should check it out if you have not seen it yet. Looks really nice to!

I could never live with that bit missing from the screen.
But I don't feel there's a place in my life for a smartwatch.
I'm in construction so on the job I would NOT ever where one as I already carry...daily...my iPhone 6+ and my old 4S...but going out around town other wise I could see using one. I don't have a really solid understanding how it integrates with the phones and apps...so I will just "watch" the App Store and see what people come up with. My wife's fitbit pretty much does more of what I would need the watch to do...but I AM a Mac guy now so. I'll probably pony up eventually.
I have a sport one coming tomorrow. I'm hoping at WWDC they announce a full fledged SDK that allows people to create custom watch faces, I have a few good ideas for it.
I would consider getting one if GS would allow app development for the watch. cough Silly little tapping games could be made for it; you will be forced to "think small", if you catch my drift.
@Braydon_SFX, nice. You must be going for the gold one then!

I have an LG G Watch for my Note 3. While it's an amazing watch, I went to try out the Apple Watch a week ago and it, in my opinion, blew my watch out of the water. Love the watch faces. Love the interface. It was much smaller (body size) than I originally thought it would be - it took me by surprise. It's nice to see smart watches that aren't gigantic and look odd on your wrist.

Actually, I was being just slightly sarcastic. I had $12k lying around, not $10k.
In all seriousness, I would never buy a watch for that much money. That's just a stupid amount and probably not the wisest spending choice. Unless of course you're getting a gold one, in which case I would edit this comment.

@Braydon_SFX, kind of figured it was sarcasm, but you never know... lol
And I agree 100% I like the watch I have and it cost me about $30 at Target, I can't bring myself to even consider spending hundreds for a watch of any kind.

Man, just rubberband an iPhone to your wrist.
That'll probably be the new screen size in 2 years.

Already got mine on order. Got to wait until May 12th for the second dispatch though.

GS said they have no plans to do anything with Apple Watch. Said something about Open GL Is not used on the watch.
I'm in construction and I plan on wearing mine to work.
Too pricey for me.
You work in construction? Do you do any work ?
I thought you were some sound engineer/video/gaming guru guy !!
You lose 2 points lol.
Lucky for me, I had an extra $10k lying round my office.
i've had an original pebble for 18 months now, great watch.

Oh yea, Well I'm still going old school and rocking a Nano in a Stainless Steel Band! Come at me bro!
I laughed so hard at this:
Love that college humor skit. Now that I think about it the 10,000 is not worth it. But the 17,000 one is.
