Amazon leaderboards work on android and there is always networking features to make cross platform leaderboards. Google games leaderboards are coming not soon enough though.
Can I link the amazon Leaderboard to the published google play app?

To clarify, GameSalad Does not support Google Play Leaderboards and there is no work around for this as its currently not supported.
The easyist work around is to release your game on the Amazon store and set up Gamecircle leaderboard for the game on Amazon. When set up, put the same behaviours in your Google Play build and it will share the same leaderboard as the Amazon players.
So in short, People downloading your game from the Google Play store will use your Amazon GameCircle Leaderboard.
I made a tutorial a while back which @scottharrrules43 has linked above (thanks Scott) which shows you how to setup Gamecircle.
