I like this character as it is. Hard to make a call without seeing a cast

@Bowhill Games, if you google "cute robot" and look at the images presented I think you'd find a lot of inspiration there. Certainly not suggesting you copy anything but instead look closely and see what you think makes one cute vs another. I'd say the 'eyes', the position, the expression of human characteristics and poses vs the solid stance of a metal box.

Anytime I'm creating I find is super helpful to look a references and pick out things you like, things you think work and then make them your own in your new creation.

There is a lot to be said for a slightly larger head and bigger eyes.

But it has to be done in the right way. It's also the way you pose them to give your robot personality or an emotion.

I guess think about what how your robot might feel, is he lost? Or is he just plain old cheeky.

@Bowhill Games even though those renders look really nice I would suggest adding more colour and contrast to make sure they are still recognizable when scaled to 'ingame sizes' / displayed on smaller mobile device screens. At them moment there blue, blue and blue with rather thin arms and legs. An additional colour to make the extremities stand out better might be helpful.
