http://gshelper.com is now the official marketplace for GameSalad!

We've partnered with the guys at GSHelper to provide marketplace services for us. We're also shutting down our internal marketplace and redirecting all traffic to http://gshelper.com.

Don't worry, any purchases you made with the old marketplace are still available on your profile.

If you're a vendor from the old marketplace, we'll get your final payments out to you very soon.

We're excited to see where GSHelper will take the marketplace! Head on over there and see what cool stuff they have for FREE and for sale!

@CodeWizard Are you removing the "More in Marketplace..." and "purchased" button in the creator?

"More in Marketplace" will redirect to the landing page for now, and purchased items in Creator will remain, as will all previously purchased items.

    @dgackey Okay :neutral:

I was hoping that the huge banner

would be replaced with some forum, message and bugs direct links.

@ThoPel at some point that will happen, but for now, we're going to keep the existing links so that folks have time to hit the landing page and understand what's happening.

Congrats GSHelper! For those who don't know me, I was the former GSHelper owner. Very exciting to see how far @uptimistik & @Braydon_SFX have taken it. Keep up all the good work! I'm sure @tshirtbooth would be proud.

Great to hear that we once again have a possibilty to buy/sell stuff.
I could not find any information about the revenue cut, am I missing something?

Oh, thank you! I clicked around in the knowledge base but somehow missed the point where the revenue cut is detailed. Found it now.

I tend to stay away from the 3rd party stuff. I have no opinion one way or the other. frankly any of that stuff is NOMB...lol

I've submitted 80 assets and templates into GS Marketplace :) and @DeepBlueApps also has quite lot of templates on GS Marketplace.

It's quite hard to move everything to GSHelper :(

    Zhong.

@GSAnimator Yeah we had a bucket load on the marketplace, easy over 100 so we won't be re-uploading.

  • KnightStarKnightStar Member Posts: 162

Cheers to GSHelper.com getting the nod to be the officially sanctioned marketplace for Templates, etc. but I gotta say, someone should at least mentioned that there are a number of other good sites out there that have a crap-ton of helpful templates..

Hell, one of my first aftermarket purchases after D/Ling GS was the 100+ template MEGA-Bundle from Wayne & Darren.. (I'm looking at you, Eepday-Luebay-Arketplacemay dot Omcay)..

Heh... I just wrote an article on the top GameSalad marketplaces and had to go back and revise it to reflect the change. It was outdated before it was even published!
