Custom Splash screen probelm

Well I'm making my first game for android & since there thousands of different android products it'll be almost impossible to optimize it like how we can for iOS. So I told it stretch instead of overscan. The problem I have is when the splash screen loads due to me telling it stretch it distorts the image ... regardless how small or big I make it. How do I fix this?

it's a bug, just use a black image for your splash screen and put a proper splash screen as the first scene in the game.

Is this still a problem or is it fixed?

It is still broken. And it should be fixed. Putting the loading image in the first scene is a nice "hack", but it makes loading the game seem very slow. At least with the loading image GameSalad apps feel responsive and quick. Without it there is a good chance users will hit the home button before your app is loaded thinking it crashed. And then uninstall it. Not good.
