selling other's art?

If i make my game using free art from game salad forum, or from purchased art- do i have to pay royalties to others?\

    Check the usage rights of the art. In most cases, free art will either require no royalty (as it's free) or will require a credit being given to the artist. For most paid art you pay once for the right to use the art, either for one project or as many as you want, depending on the rights.

    Thanks armelline. I believe i have been checking out your stuff on the market. Did you make the auto safe download? Where do you find the usage rights of the art? I have never seen that before.

    I think he means the very helpful "Auto Save" feature you created which can be downloaded.

    Ah, well not sure there then, there was only two bits of art involved in that: A floppy disk which I got from http://www.openclipart.org, and the GS logo, used with permission.

    I highly recommend openclipart.org for completely free placeholder images.
