Hi everyone the name's Lucas, nice to meet you all. To start off I would like to thank the GameSalad team for making such an easy to use game making software and that they have made it possible for developers to interact.

I would like to know from all your experiences what you think of GameSalad? And how far can I take it?
Thanks for having me.

    Welcome @LucasJG1994

GameSalad is a great tool and it sounds cliched but you are really only limited by your imagination.

My advice to you would be work out what GameSalad does well and what it does not do so well and invent your game around those parameters. There is huge scope within that area.

The people on these forums are a real help so don't hesitate to ask when you get stuck...and at some point you will!

    Good luck ;)

Welcome. The forum and YouTube tutorials helped me a bunch. I've got 3 apps (2 games and a fitness timer) in the AppStore, and another game on the way.

Welcome, @LucasJG1994! Like others have said, you are only limited by your imagination. 3D isn't possible in the tool, but you can even fake 3D in GameSalad so that's a plus. Once you have a good understanding of how the engine works you should be able to really drive in and start cracking!

Welcome. For me at least I have had a 2 year learning curve...going from rants and raves about GS because I didnt know how to use it, to becoming one of GS's biggest "fans" with still much to learn....but I have 13 apps now...a few more coming soon...no mega hits by any means but that only limited to my knowledge of the creator. The chances of a first release of an app being a hit and allow you to retire...just let that bubble burst now...and have fun.

Make some personal story boards...write down your goals...learn to implement them into your app..use tutorials and the forums.

We are here for you Neo...are you the one ?

Hello and welcome! GS is a fantastic product! Most of the time it's great but every now and then you will encounter some frustrating issues but there are always creative ways to get around them ... All the best on your journey and I look forward to seeing what you will create ...
