Mac Creator Release 0.13.47 is available

13.47 Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue that caused Layers to disappear when changing their order in the Scene layer list
  • Fixed an issue with Redo-ing a deletion of a selected actor instance

13.46 Fixes:

  • Fixed undo of prototype removal causing project corruption
  • Fixed issue with actor instances not being restored correctly
  • Fixed projects not loading due to bad user settings
  • Android apps should now behave better and not crash especially when a custom loading screen is used.
  • Android viewer no longer crashes when a Show Banner behavior is triggered
  • We now prevent Android devices from going to sleep when GameSalad apps are running
  • Removed the "Loading..." text when opening an android APK
  • Android now uses 2 letter country code for Device Platform Region
  • Buzz behavior now works on Android. Sends a 500ms buzz to the Android device.
  • Android back button now throws Esc key (connected gamepads will throw SELECT) if you don’t check “App quits on controller back button” during Web Publishing.
  • “Create Keystore” button during android signing now points to our Cookbook URL
  • We now force Java tools to return their output in English to fix the issue where passwords were not accepted during Android signing
  • iOS binaries are now built against the iOS 9 SDK
  • Revmob has been updated to 9.0.4 for iOS 9 compatibility

    This does not include fixes for mac signing for games that do not use controllers. I am still working on the fix.

    I wanted to add a quit behavior so you can control when to quit the android app but i could not get it into this build.

    I cant add layers in my project , i add a layer when i move it , it disappears

    adding layers to the project is okay , but if i move any layer above or below the other it disappears, can someone try please ? Layer 1 - Background - Layer 2 - Layer 3 , thanks

    Put the app in a folder called Payload. Zip the payload folder. Call the zip file "yourapp.ipa". Submit that to apple.

    Ok, I put .app file in a folder called Payload. I zipped that folder, renamed it to gamename.ipa, clicked to changed extension to .ipa and tried to upload. I then got this.

    Ok we have a fix for the layer issue could use some extra testing if anyone wants to help.

    Not sure what I did differently but I finally got it to work! Thanks and sorry for being a hassle.

    This is fixed now with 13.47

    It looks the same,performance is slow,
    iPad2 some scnce fps drop 35~45,
    but 0.13.33 can be FPS 60.

    I found a way to solve the 0.13.4x poor performance,
    I go back to use 0.13.33 , publish game to gamesalad server,
    so this game engine is 0.13.33.

    then,
    use 0.13.47 download and sign game from gs server,
    I found this way can be performance is great!!!!

    now FPS always be 60 on iPad2 and iPod touch 5 !!!!!
    It is amazing!

    my game "Roll Turtle" use this way,
    now recovery FPS 60 run on iPad2 and iPhone 4s,
    They are both iOS9,
    Perfectly smooth running, has a lot of particle effects.

    What is this Android esc key? Previously it just minimized the app and went back to Android home screen right? Now, it will quit it completely?

    @kirafu or anyone else... Is there a link to download 13.33 somewhere? I just upgraded instead of downloading the latest and then installing it so I don't have that version.

    The android viewer does not display performance and memory usage

    Tried it on 2 devices , used to work before.

    ERROR ITMS-90529: "Invalid package. Applications built with sdk 9.0 or later must be packaged as proper IPA files."

    Trying to upload to Apple now and get this error. Anyone else?
