Once I do what was said to do in that thread I get another error message. "The IPA is invalid. It does not include payload directory". Am I still doing something wrong?

My Process: Create folder called "Payload" => Move .App into folder => Compress folder to turn into .zip => Rename to appname.app => put into Application Loader => Error.

Very frustrating have practically tried every combination possible these past few hours.

try renaming the final zip appname.ipa not .app

Why are we suddenly having to do this....even watching everyone say to do this...I have yet to have to do so.

Apple no longer accepts zip files for uploading to the app store. I am still working on having mac creator do this for you.

    its easy,

    1. make a new folder and rename it to 'Payload' (without quotes)
    2. place your .app file in the folder.
    3. 3.compress the folder and rename it to: yourgamename.ipa

now send it trough the 'application loader' and it will 100% work (if all your certificates, app ID's and distribution profile are correctly done:)

just uploaded 2 apps myself, waiting for review now:)

I made an app a while back for making ipas to upload to the old TestFlight. It throws up an error in El Capitan, but it should still work. It's attached. Maybe I'll update it if need be. Just stick it on your dock and drag the file you want to upload onto it. It'll spit out an ipa in the same directory.
