You can, but in that case only people with iphone 5 / 6 can see the video on the AppStore.

anyway apple currently seems like having a bug with their video upload. Have uploaded. was ok for awhile and can view it. Then after awhile, it shows up video error.

I google ALOT of pple having this issue. Just to share with developers here submitting video =).

But are there any one out there successfully uploading and the video continue to be fine without error?

I followed the advice below which I found on this thread (and it worked): http://stackoverflow.com/questions/28097740/ios-app-preview-video-not-saving-in-itunes-connect

convert your videos online using this site http://video.online-convert.com/convert-to-mp4

    and set the following

    vid bitrate : 10240

    frame rate: 30

    audio quality: 256

if you use MAC, i would advise:

    1.record your trailer with 'quicktime'
2.if you exceed the max length use this tool to cut: http://online-video-cutter.com
    3. download a small program (100% FREE) called 'handbrake' to convert the video to the correct size.
    4. upload to iTunes connect……

if iTunesconnect does not accept the video and you get a message like 'wrong format' try uploading it the next day… 99% of the time the issue is on apple's side.

    i guarantee this works 100%

also make sure you do not have a very slow internet connection, i have heard some people cannot upload because their upload speed is real low...

yeah also using handbrake I also bough reflector couple of years ago that was before quicktime could record it.

now quicktime and handbrake are the base.

If you ever get a format error when uploading your video to iTunesConnect you're in for a rough journey. I tried exporting it with Quicktime, iMovie, and even After Effects. The only solution I found was a video editor called Blink for iPhone on the App Store. Just transfer your video to your phone then export it. Works perfectly every time. No command line or any ridiculous commands you have to run. https://appsto.re/us/9WD09.i
