how to downgrade gamesalad

I'm trying to downgrade my Windows PC and mac to version 1.23.1 because I heard there was something in the newer updates that made the game lag and my game is extremely laggy. I heard that they were trying to fix this issue .. if so how soon will it till there's a next update ?

    I saw this thread earlier the day too but I don't test it because it's 3 years old and I'm not sure if it's still working. The thread was for GS 0.9.90 and we need to downgrade to 1.23.xx

    on a Mac just replace the GS app bundle with the version you want to downgrade to, or simply rename it. As for downgrading your project files I'm sure some helpful soul will divulge that info as I have no idea what the current method is :)

    It the same as before. Alter the xml files and reversion them. It's easy enough to test out. Make copy of your file. Edit the copy as pescribed in that thread and try it out. This is how the rest of us figure things out.
