Exciting stuff! Custom fonts are something I will use a lot. Not only fonts but think of all the symbols you can use! Waiting on the door mat for this to arrive... oh wait ;)

Not to rush the production or anything as I know that there have been many bug fixes for 1.24, but how close is 1.25 to being finished?

    Cheers :)

Not everything always goes to plan, especially not with big changes!

We're currently testing it, and have one more feature to add. Barring any major bugs, it should be out in a week or two.

Yeah, fixing bugs in 1.24 has slowed things down.

@stevej thanks for informing about 1.25 release date. I wished it would be here upcoming week, but this release must be really awesome, so it probably be worth the wait!

Nobody would be happy if they release it and it's buggy right? It will be ready when it is ready and right.

PLEASE add more expression editors to the new font feature. This is vitally important for those of us who are making RPGs

"Be a yardstick of quality. Some people aren't used to an environment where excellence is expected." I've been following the growth of GS and I believe the good folks in the team can do much more than they imagined.

Could you elaborate? What functionality are you looking for?

As @Armelline commented, being able to affect size and color during runtime would be great.

Agree, changing size and color during runtime would definitely come in handy.

maybe we can turn those vivid imagination into reality by cracking out the whip? haha just kidding. Keep up the good work.

Expressions for size and color are a must have. I'm only able to speak for myself but without them being dynamic I wouldn't even think about using custom fonts because all of the numbers or letters I use in my games are dynamic. For example I use the alpha value constantly to let scores or text appear because stuff just popping up out of nowhere looks terrible.

Yeah for a true replacement to my custom fonts, I'd have to agree. Expressions for size and color are pretty much a must.

I agree with you guys. I think type expressions would be great but just having custom fonts without having to do the work-around is pretty major in itself.
