new game idea

Hi i'm new to game salad and i was just wondering if i could get some feedback for a game idea i have. I have been looking at sprite attack's tutorials to have a go at creating the main character who is a Dwarf. The game will be based on upgrading your dwarf and going to different mines which unlock over time to uncover more secrets. I was wondering how i could add some more detail to my dwarf or any extra'. i wanna make armor, tools and equipment which can be bought in a shop but that will be later on. Also I'm not sure how to attach the image without it coming up as a link.

    Welcome!

    Sounds like a big task for a first project. I recommend you start with something a bit simplier, and when you get the hang of how stuff works in GS, move to bigger things.

    The game idea sounds great though.

    Since you're not a PRO member, you have to upload your images to a image hosting site and then link it here on the forums. PRO members can drag and drop files straight in to the forum comments.

    thanks Nipa, i think i will have a go at something easier to become more familiar with the software and maybe upload it and become a pro member later.

    @Game Chef, welcome. I agree with the others, I'd start smaller and spend some time learning Gamesalad and just what it takes to finish a full project before you jump into such a detailed game.

    I like the sound of it though so hopefully you get to it eventually!
