Tower defense game in progress

I had attempted to make a tower defense game a couple years ago and couldn't get things working the way I liked but recently started the project over and am getting some good results. It's super early in development but here it is at the moment.

This gif runs a bit rough and doesn't show everything smoothly but at the moment things are running just fine in the engine.

    Very nice, @jamie_c ! If you got that part down right, the rest builds upon it. Faster items, more damage, more shields, et al. I can see you finishing this up really good.

    Very cool. I always wondered whether it'd be possible to build a convincing TD game, looks like you're proving it can be done.

    Thanks guys, I appreciate all the kind words. There is a long way to go on the project but it's still at the fun stage of problem solving so that keeps me motivated. :)

    Nice work! I'd like to make a TD game too, but i want it to be original, and have not thought of a good idea yet, and i have other projects to finish up. I'll make one someday...
