Splash screen woes

So, what's the deal with the custom loading images on the publishing page? When I insert the images in with the correct size for each device, the displayed image is stretched horizontally on my iPhone 6 plus and when I add only the image for iPhone 6 plus (1242x2208px) then nothing shows up during the load time. I don't remember this being an issue before. If anyone knows a work-around, I would really appreciate the help. Thanks!

    Hey @CodeWizard , Sorry for bothering you but can you confirm if this is something you guys are aware of? Also, isn't this an issue with the publishing side and not the creator?

    I'm also having issues with custom images for splash screens on Android. I have a universal build (landscape) and the splash screen always appears either the wrong orientation or stretches horribly. I've resorted to having a black screen as it looked so unprofessional :(
