Luna 2d/puzzle platformer progress

I decided to make a platformer I started two days ago , I dont know the story yet ! But here is a little video for game play , I still didnt add puzzles or anything and im learning how to draw better in flash , give me your opinion please , thanks !

It certainly looks good, but I would start figuring out that story as soon as you can. It's weird to kill those deer. The game feels so peaceful, so why would this character kill those deer? I immediately felt bad about it as soon as I saw it. I you wanted to do that, you could figure out a game where over the course of the game your character slowly becomes more evil. Like maybe in the beginning the deer are your friends but you get infected with an evil spirit and then you find you have to kill them near the end. That would make the player feel pretty terrible (in a good way) if done right.
Not a massive fan of platformers, but what you've achieved in two days is pretty awesome!
@owen_dennis thank you for your review , the deer doesnt hurt you i just put them there for fun , I'll try to come up with a story soon but I was just testing !

Looks really nice, love the little details like the weight of the player pushing the boat lower into the water, very nice !
I'd add a little sway to the boat as it moves through the water, a little [2 *sin(self.time *120)] . . . .
