From my initial look at the GameSalad system, I am very impressed.
I am a retired old programmer. 30 years of writing business systems using Basic, Cobol, and Assembler languages. I even wrote a couple of programs for the Atari Exchange program back a million years ago. I have been wanting to learn to write programs for mobile devices and I have some ideas for games, but I am too lazy to learn Java. Now maybe I don't need to. I really can't afford to take on another monthly membership fee, but I will figure something out. I live in New Mexico and would love to find out if there are any members in the Albuquerque area. My name is Steve Smith and I am looking forward to being part of the GameSalad creative family.

If you understand basic programming logic you should pick up gamesalad.
Welcome. Making games is a ton of fun.
Welcome to the forums!
Welcome.
Welcome @steve8996. I am sure you will have fun with GameSalad. I am a VIC20 baby myself and live just 9000km outside of Albuquerque, as the crow flies.
Hi Steve, welcome! I'm an oldster as well, I started programming in BASIC back on a Commodore 64 in about 1982. Once you understand how the logic of Gamesalad works you should have no problem jumping in and creating some awesome stuff.
Hey there and welcome!
Welcome, Steve.
Welcome aboard! You'll find GS easy to use based on your past experiences.
I had a Tandy CoCo back in the day myself

Welcome
APX! The Atari's had great capabilities for the time. So when is GS going to implement GOTO 10? Just kidding... Actually these GS "actors" are a bit like "turtles" or "sprites" in LOGO, if you think about it.
Hey Steve! Good luck with Gamesalad
