Do you feel shy to carry glasses?

I carried glasses only at home. Never put it on at people. However my sight became worse yet, I must carry glasses everywhere.
What glasses to buy, what didn't cause discomfort, constraint? Did you have such problem? What to do?

    I wear mine all the time. I can't develop games with out them! (Bringing things back to game development). Personally I think glasses look cool and give you some extra game development cred (you spend so much time developing you game, your eyesight is strained)!

    Never be shy about who you are, if people don't like you're glasses they are the ones with a problem. :)

    I used to wear contacts and hated the idea of wearing glasses. Eventually though I got tired of the hassle contacts involved - all that cleaning them every night and taking them out and putting them in and stuff - and got a pair of glasses. Turned out they suited me and I've worn them ever since! Even though there are now daily lenses you throw out at the end of the day and ones you wear while you sleep and take out once a month, I still wear my glasses.

    I never thought of wearing glasses in my life. But by entering the real world where I had to work on desk job on computer, my eyes have got weak and I almost feel blind without them. They may show me ugly but I wear them because I cannot see without them. Glasses are now a part of my body and my life, and I hope to never let them go...

    My suggestion is to buy glasses with a heavy frame holder, so they won't break easy.

    Never. I enjoy the look of my glasses and I got the feeling, that I even look better wearing them.

    To be honest I think half the people I see everyday wear glasses, so don't feel bad wearing them, there's more people out there that have to wear them than you think ;)

    Buy small glasses, dont wear big glasses, usually people look good wearing small glasses, well I dont have eye issue but I wear them coz I look kool :smiley:

    Get tinted or photosensitive lenses, then they look like sunnies. B)

    I wore a pair that were tinted and reflective until my wife said that I looked like a State Trooper from "Smokey and the Bandit". :s I sold them with the Firebird.

    I think it is stupid to think carrying glasses is bad. The people who despise glass-wearers are just dumb. Wait until they get glasses!

    I stumble around with empty glasses looking for the bottle. :dizzy:

    I felt shy to carry eyeglasses before too. It probably yet from little up.
    When in a class only I had eyeglasses. It passes with age.
    Now I carry

    Brand of frame is Quality, good and comfortable eyeglasses. I like. I carry it permanent.
