7 years of GameSalad goodness!

7 years ago today I joined a fledgling new community of aspiring game developers. That community grew and became the awesome community you see today.

To celebrate 7 years of being part of the amazing GameSalad community, I'm attaching to this post my old tic-tac-toe with computer AI template.

Thank you to everyone who's contributed to this community and helped me to learn GameSalad! You're all awesome!

(I've not looked at the template in over a year, except just now to check it still worked. Hopefully it's not too cringeworthy!)

    Congrats @Armelline I think you must be the longest standing GS user thats still around on a regular basis...

    I just got my 6th year badge earlier this month, and I think I joined about a year into the GS rollercoaster... so you must have been one of the very first batch of users of the software. Its a bit scary to see the time gone by, and to think of all the faces that have come and gone, both in the community, and at GS towers... but its definitely been interesting!

    So yup... congrats on possibly being the longest standing regular user! :)

    I'm pretty sure I signed up on the day GameSalad was released to the public :D Nobody else has the 7 year badge, but a bunch of accounts and badges were lost a few years back if I remember correctly, so there might be others lurking around whose join date isn't correct and should be getting the badge today too!

    yea i should be getting mine this September, but when they lost all the info a few years back they manually entered my join date as sept 2010 when it should be sept 2009! so while I have posts going abck to 2009, it says I joined in 2010 :)

    Goodness Mate you are old..lol Yes when they brought out the pro version many peoples accounts got set to the date they became pro. It happened to me, my account is off by a year.

    I'm a true believer that 7 is a lucky number. ;)

    It is you and the other GS Elite that keep me inspired and plugging away. Thank you for your generosity with your time, templates and tutorials.

    Time flies when your having fun :) congrats @Armelline while it's not as active or as much fun as it was in the old days (I used to love the competitions from DBA and @Stormystudio TOTB) its still a nice place for newcomers to come and ask questions and learn the basics.
