After almost 4 Months it's done the game is live!
It took me way longer to finish and I rushed at the end to launch it. I am still proud on the result where ever I think it could have so much extra features etc. Or just more narrative scenes etc. Overall this game learned me to be more aware first of where I really wanna go with it.

Excellent game. Gets really challenging at level 5. Even though the gameplay is very similar to Creepy, it's a totally different game. Still, i think that people who liked Creepy, will like this one too. I personally like this one more. Lot of little details in the game really bring it alive, and the athmosphere and sound effects are very good!

I am very happy to hear this, I was afraid if it can live up to creepy, some testers meant creepy was still better and I believed them. But watching the trailer and playing a couple of levels -> I think this one is better. Its just that creepy already has a lot of players and its easier to stand on the already winning party

@UncloudedStudio its really nice to hear that, specially the lava levels is performance wise tricky but I reduced the amount of particles and made them only fire if they are on screen.

I'm going to test it on my 8 year old son a little later, I will report back !
@socks just watched this gameplay footage and it looks like it is a lot harder for some players than I thought. It would be great if your son can successfully play it but I guess my games are more somewhere from 12+ year olds upwards regarding difficulty.

another thing is that in this voices where placed by me rather than having the pop random on certain behaviors as in orcs and creepy.
I think thats the way to go for platformers, with orcs random worked fine, but creepy propabably also should get the choosen voice moments rather than the repetitive nature.

Did you notice your loading screen(landscape right), gamescreen(left)? and does game has a menu while I'm middle of the level? If it hasn't, it must.

thanks, the loading screen vs game screen rotation was never synchro for me. Even if I have em flipped the other way. Since the loading screen does no auto flip but the game does.
no menus in-between and it also doesn't need to. I don't want the flow to be broken. I do not want them to think any second if they should or shouldnt play the next level. It jsut comes and they go with it or not.
its just my style.
I mean, if you turn-off auto rotate on your phone, pixel mage will open landscape left, not so important but if you make your loading screen synch with left, most users can see corret rotation for loading screen.
It is a common behaviour, most people turn-off auto rotate if you don't use iphone 6/6s plus.

Something odd is that when I searched for the app on the App Store using my iPad, after I had downloaded from your link above, to go back and rate it, Pixel Mage wouldn't come up? The search displayed 10 other apps, only three with the word "Mage" in them, but not yours?
I had to use your link to find it again so I could review it.
Does Apple only display 10 results in a search these days?
