Android Input Touch Lag

ParkGamesParkGames Member, PRO Posts: 117

I'm trying to export some of my games from iOS to Android but while performance seems ok from the latest GS update I'm seeing a 1 second delay from touching an actor to the action being executed - just a standard press actor behaviour.

I reckon this is just down to the cheap android tablet I have but has other folks experienced this input lag?

the question is do you also experience that on other apps with that tablet?

Hard to say. Some do while the likes of Angry Birds work fine.

Is the Android zoom function enabled on your tablet? It causes delay on a single presses, but swipes (like in angry birds) work fine.

I use the zoom function a lot on my tablet. It took a while to realize it was causing delays in touches.

Cool. The "Magnification Gestures" option was on - triple tap to zoom. Touch now works great!
