Make sure your buttons are in the area of the scene where the scene starts.

Yeah I have my scene (white outline with camera) starting in the middle of map I have a house, player, and ui controls all right there.

If the scene is larger than the original size the hud must be placed in that original area where a scene starts.

Thanks for the replies. I have figured out what is happening I'll try to keep it simple.
I was trying to start in the middle of a 8000 pixel scene. My camera was there and when I placed the move keypad it was not there? I had to go where the camera originates and place it there and because I have a camera control on the player when the game starts it snaps to where the player is placed and the non scrolling stuff I want is now there.
    I hope that makes sense.
