Hello @bellow for my sign I used gimp/Inkscape/photoshop Also I have a link on my computer that offers loads of free art with heaps of backgrounds most likely including forests. I'll post the link when I'm on my PC next.
@codemonster thanks! Just to let everyone know those first animals are not allowed to be used in commercial games. I don't know about the others. Make sure you read the statements before you use any art in your games.
I think I will try making a new graphic daily, so keep an eye out, I will probably start posting them on my websites, so look there for maybe exclusive freebies.

I want this thread to come back to what it used to be I know I don't have the best graphic skills, but at least they are something for anyone out there just starting.
