Assistance needed to develop a game

samvissamvis Member Posts: 1

A South African bank has approached us to assist with developing a game.
This is for staff only and non-commercial.
The aim of the game is to assist with training staff on Cybercrime topics.

We would like to take an existing game and edit the copy so that staff are trained while playing.

We are not developers and require a freelancer (this is a paid job) to assist with building this

    If you want to make so a "niche" app get sure it is even possible, I think apple doesn't allow apps which are to "niche".

    Goole play probably does work.

    found this(apple):

    1. Applications that are too niche often get flagged through the approval process.

    Apple is not fond of content created for an extremely specific audience. If you’ve created an app that caters to your local wine tasting crew, that’s not going to fly. Broaden that to fans of a specific wine varietal, and you’re on your way.

    An app like this will likely get deployed through an organization with an enterprise distribution profile (I forgot what they're really called), but basically a super ad hoc profile for companies, so it's unlikely to go on the store. Though if the app is friendly enough, the contractor might be able to convince the bank to release it commercially as a public service type of game.

    @samvis if you can talk about it, who is the bank? Our CEO has some South African ties so he was curious. Once development experience is done, it would be interesting to try to do an blog post on the it.
