GSHelper down again...

Just wanted to let those in charge at GS know that GSHelper.com appears to be down at the moment, maybe someone could check on this @ForumNinja ?

    Yah, there was a payment snafu and the host is taking it's time getting the account reactivated.

    But your site has never been down for unscheduled maintenance and you actually pay your vendors. I don't see how it can survive.

    Edit: I hope the offical site is back up and running. It was a rough year last year for the owners, so I hope things get back on track. :)

    I'm quoting myself here but in my opinion GameSalad really needs an official platform for sharing/selling/buying stuff. Their resources might be sparse but there are too many problems with GSHelper and a good asset store with free and paid stuff is an essential part of today's game engines. I imagine this could also be important for the educational sector.

    One thing after another with GSHelper I was shocked when GameSalad closed their own marketplace to go with GSH apparently due to lack of man power and I guess it's coming back to bite them.

    At least paid for template sales are pretty much dead so I'm not really fussed if it's up/down or doesn't exist anymore but like someone said there's a lot of free content that can really help newcomers so for them let's hope they sort it out.

    I'm not sure why GS can't have an area for free template downloads that requires no internal support.

    For me, it has been really weird since yesterday. Seems like it is working now.
