Unicode symbol support?

Anyone know if Unicode is still supported? I just tried an old demo that displayed Unicode symbols and it didn't work. The symbols either don't appear or appear as empty boxes. So I'm assuming it's no longer supported but hoping for confirmation.

Sorry, was very ambiguous! Unicode stopped being supported when they added the custom font rendering. Now it relies on what's in the fonts themselves. Not sure if that was an oversight or a deliberate sacrifice they made when they added the new font rending.

Not with the custom font rendering.

@Armelline Are you saying that now that there are custom fonts available, there is no support for unicode? Or that while default fonts might work, custom ones won't?

Okay, thanks. For some reason I was thinking I had to use unicode if I wanted symbols in Display Text but... uh... with custom fonts I can just use a symbol font of my choice. Funny how I sometimes make things harder than they need to be!
