how do i make an image gradually disappear?

i dont mean fade out with the interpolate behavior. i need it to disappear from top to bottom as its self.time changes. keeping its same dimensions so not just shrinking its width until its zero. any help is appreciated.

can you not have another image scroll over it to take its place?

thats my backup plan but since im not too experienced with the functions in gs i wanted to see if there was one that could do it simpler or more efficiently within the actor itself.

No, you'd have to animate it by creating individual frames of the image outside of GameSalad. Or, as @MusicBoutique suggested, cover the actor with a moving actor.

What's your clock look like? This is probably much easier to create than you think. I create frame based animations all the time for GS.

Not sure what you want your clock to look like exactly but maybe check on YouTube: how to create a full circle timer gamesalad... Might at least give some ideas. There are also other videos for clocks in GS...
