i have never used the platform, but as a stab in the dark, are you using the right version when you generate the app?
i thought i read somewhere that you need to use the unsigned version generated for amazon.
yes unsigned but i read that i need to disable touch and i need to use minimum SDK 22 i've recompile with RC finger crossed
nothing to do i receive the same message:
"We are unable to test your app as it does not function as intended. The app exits/ force closes/ freezes/ displays an error message after being launched. Please fix the issue and re-submit the app"
i compile wit RC SDK 22 nothing i recompile with Stable version with SDK 22 nothing to do... i really frustrated... i've the same message from Amazon...

someone can help me about this issue?
@adent42 can you confirm that we can export to fire tv without problems? i try with two games and the reply from amazon is always the same... they say that the game stuck in a black screen...

honestly i don't know how to fix this issue...
thanks in adv
@adent42 I would like to know this too, as I am planning on releasing an app for Fire TV myself and don't want to waste my time optimising the game if it's not working.
the strange thing is that they don't able to open the app...
i mean they have a freeze etc when try to launch the game...
in order i try to use RC and Stable version to compile the APK but nothing change i try to change the setting in the publishing portal in the specific section of Kindle fire tv but nothing change the issue is still present.
Check touchscreen not requried, maybe not fix this issue but that is needed if i remember right...
It's been years but I was able to successfully export and post Gamesalad projects for the Fire TV. Thing's might have changed since then, but at one time it was definitely working.
i've could export for amazon classic but i need to use a normal android google play tab in the publishing portal but nothing to do about fire tv o fire stick tv these devices still locked for my games... and yes i've checked touchscreen not requried but nothing change...
i mean the games are live but the fire tv devices are unsupported...
Nothing about the fire TV still excluded... why?
Any suggestion are welcome.
nothing news about that issue..
someone is able to publish for kindle fire TV?
So we've heard of crash issues with FireTV. I still need to dig one out to debug the issue (it's in a box in storage).
ok Thank you!
Just coming back with a game in mind for Fire stick or Fire TV. So Im looking for some data on publishing process for amazon stuff and update on any old bugs that are fixed or still being waited on? Is publishing to Fire Stick or Fire TV a thumbs up " good to go" or a no go?
Hi personally i never could publish for Fire TV as you can see in my screenshoots...
Feedbacks are welcome ;)
@pinkio75 if you go into the devices cant you just select all FireTV and remove all others?
There are other FireTV problems for me that i hope @adent42 will look at soon....
So it sounds like Fire TV still has major bugs and not doable at this time. Is there a way to create a game here and save it as a .exe to give or allowed to be downloaded on PCs? does publishing as a HTML5 give me a .EXE file? Are there any limitation to publishing as a HTML5? Screen Size? File Size? HTML5 have access to all the other publishing features? Is HTML5 a thumbs up or a no go?
So haven't seen any FireTV bugs yet in the RC, still looking based on @freneticz input.
To answer your question on HTML5, there are some text rendering differences (most notable if you're using unusually not not very well defined fonts). It's pretty easy to test, especially if you import and develop your game in HTML5 creator.
As for exe, we don't help with that on the publishing side, but it's been done and is very much possible.
I'd say it really depends on your game. If you either fully develop on the web version or your game doesn't heavily depend on physics rendering large blocks of text, I'd go for it.
