You may or may not have heard that AWS (Amazon Web Services) is experience issues this morning.

It looks like one of the services we depend on for HTML5 and arcade publishing is down: Elastic Transcoder, the system that translates audio for HTML5 games.

We're keeping an eye on the issue, but may make a temporary change to publishing to disable transcoding or try to drop in a replacement.

We'll keep you posted.

We found a temporary solution, re-routing transcoding jobs to another AWS data center that's not experiencing problems. There might be a slightly slower delay as your audio files are shipped across the country for transcoding, but that should allow things to continue.

Because of the delay, you might see some of your waiting HTML5 or Arcade publishes fail. Just try them again.

@adent42 thanks but i've the same error when i build html5 games:

"Something went wrong configuring your app. Please check your configuration and try again. If the problem persists contact us and reference publish request"

Okay, but my publishing attempts simply hang. I hit publish two days ago and the button is still greyed out and says "Publishing..." and it won't let me try again.

    What can I even do?
