How to make an AAB File??

dimsdaledimsdale Member Posts: 499

Hi, when I press the build AAB File button in the publisher page, and then __Sign the app button, I end up with a .APK file with a funny name?? ..... appoutput36.apk

Shouldn't it be my app name and a .AAB file, am I doing something wrong? (well, more like what am I doing wrong?)

I've tried up loading this to my google page and get this:- (and it doesn't install on my phone)

press "build RC" after click download button to download the unsigned .AAB and sign the .AAB file with the terminal; or if you need APK you can extract from it.

Honestly, I abandoned the automatic procedure from the publication portal, I don't even know if it still works; anyway somewhere here on the forum you can find everything to do these procedures.

Sorry, I'm hopeless searching and finding things in these forms. (an struggle to stay up to date on what's been happing). Is there a link somewhere on how to sign the .AAB file with the terminal somewhere??

been over this a few times, I keep getting this [Only one alias can be specified]. I pretty sure this is the first time I've made an alias. is there anyway to check for other alias that may already be installed??

    Thanks in advance.
