Want to get back to gamesalad ,still have some questions
Hi, so after years i want to get back to use gs again, last time i used a mac mini but it doesnt longer suppport many things i need . I believe in order to publish to ios i need xcode which runs only on mac?
Should i buy the latest mac mini m4 chip16gb ram
Or mac laptop with m4 chip16gb of ram or windows pc? I dont want gs program to quit on me
My last questions is if ads are still avaliable with gamesalad apps to make revenue, and is publishing to ios and android very easy or hard to do? Thanks

Oh! So now with GameSalad Web Creator you are free from having to buy the biggest baddest system to get GS to run smoothly :) try it out at https://creator.gamesalad.com
Yes you still need a Mac to publish to App store and ads are still available!
iOS and Google play publishing is basically as hard as it always has been, but I've developed a flow I can share with you to set things up the first time that will make updates easier going forward
Ok thanks for your time time, definitely will try again, last time i stopped because iam bad making graphics and paying for them was alot, now i had used chatgpt and can create images faster and better, cant wait to start making games again.
Welcome back to GameSalad! It's great to see experienced users return. You’re absolutely right—publishing to iOS does require Xcode, which only runs on macOS. So, if iOS publishing is in your plans, a Mac is necessary.
As for your hardware question, either a Mac Mini M4 with 16GB RAM or a MacBook with the same specs will serve you well for GameSalad and Xcode. If portability isn't a concern, the Mac Mini is a solid choice—powerful, efficient, and usually more affordable than a laptop.
A Windows PC can still work well for Android publishing and GameSalad editing, but you'll still need Mac access (via your own Mac or a macOS cloud service) to compile and submit apps to the App Store.
